NOTE: THE ADJUSTABLE SPRAY VALVE is factory set. If necessary, you may adjust the Fan Spray Irrigation Valve Screw by means of a screw driver to your particular need. Turning clockwise reduces flow. Counterclockwise increases flow. Removal of the Adjustable Screw will irrigate but negate the spray effect.
> THE SOLUTION FLUSH IRRIGATOR stream IS CONTROLLED BY THE VOLUME KNOB ON THE handpiece. gradually open the volume control knob until desired spray stream is reached.
NASAL APPLICATION
> Add one teaspoon of salt or a packet of SR-16 Sunus Rinse to Hydro-Flo or Water-Pik® reservoir for each 480 ml ( 2 cups) of warm water (95-105 º F.).
> Set solution control knob at handpiece lowest pressure. Place Nasal Irrigator tip into nostril and lean over sink. Adjust control knob until a comfortable tolerance is reached.
ADJUSTABLE SPRAY IRRIGATION INSTRUMENT -Cat.# AHUN
> Solution enters one nostril and leaves by the other. Switch to other nostril and repeat.
SOLUTION FLUSH IRRIGATION INSTRUMENT -Cat.# NFT and Cat.# PL-NF-TU
> Solution enters and leaves from the same nostril. Apply to each nostril alternately.

> Add one Tablespoon of salt to reservoir and fill with warm water Your doctor may prescribe antibiotics.

> Lean over the sink
> Turn machine on, adjust flow to suit. Solution will clean deep into the crevices of the throat and affected areas for pain relief.
> Early irrigation, at the onset of a sore throat, is best. Repeat every two to three hours if needed. Irrigation may prevent the spread of infection within the family
> Irrigate, don't gargle. Gargling may cause hoarseness, even bleeding from the lower throat, and is often ineffective.
